Wat een liefde he? Die Johnny Cash, maar zijn leven ging niet over rozen hoor. Er zijn heel wat dingen gebeurd voordat hij op het rechte pad kwam en voordat hij uiteindelijk met zijn vrouw JC trouwde. Echt een indrukwekkend verhaal.

Het mooie aan het liedje is dat hij elk couplet met een ander octaaf inzet. Totaal gebruikt hij 3 octaven om de coupletten mee te zingen. Waarvan 1 heeeeele lage. Eentje die, volgens mij niet veel mannen kunnen halen. Maar Joaquin Phoenix (degene die Johnny Cash speelt in Walk The Line) kon dat wel. Knap hoor!
